Foxconn’s AI Server Business Surpasses iPhone Revenue, Driving Profit Growth
Hon Hai Precision Industry, known as Foxconn, reported a 17% year-over-year profit increase to $1.89 billion in Q3, exceeding analyst estimates of $1.56 billion. The electronics manufacturing giant's revenue grew 11% to $63.5 billion, powered by accelerating demand for AI server infrastructure.
Cloud and networking revenue - including AI server solutions for Amazon and Nvidia - now constitutes 42% of total sales, surpassing smartphone assembly for the second consecutive quarter. While shares dipped slightly on Tuesday, the company maintains full-year growth projections amid expanding AI hardware demand.
